I probably asked more questions than most and went down a few technical rabbit holes, but Andrew was completely unfazed. He’s extremely technical, knows the numbers inside out, and approaches solar like an engineer, not a salesman. We treated the whole thing like a problem-solving exercise — looking at figures, performance, export limits, and future use — and ended up with a system built around a Hanchu hybrid inverter and Hanchu battery that actually made sense for my setup. Very sharp, very methodical, and clearly a tech brain. If you want straight answers and a properly engineered system, Dorset Green Energy (DGE) is the company.

Dorset Green Energy have done a great PV and battery install for us. At first I was a bit wary as it's a newer company but after learning about Andrew and Alistair's time in the industry carrying out installs and their years of experience I was put at ease and was willing to proceed with them. I am glad I did as the workmanship was brilliant and the PVs and battery system are working as they should, we also got a very reasonable price from them. Would highly recommend.

Very professional service, Andy and Alistair fitted a 4kw system on my bungalow in Poole and really took their time to design the right system for our needs. We were kept in the loop from start to finish and have received great aftercare. Highly recommend.
